We use shortwave infrared (IR) to skip the air entirely and hit the part directly.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Getting the heat where it actually matters&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here is the thing about shortwave IR: it operates at a higher frequency. Instead of just baking the surface, the energy actually sinks into the coating.&#xA;For a brake pad, that means the heat reaches the spot where the friction material meets the backing plate way faster. You get a cure that&amp;rsquo;s consistent through the whole thickness of the pad.&#xA;No more &amp;ldquo;skinning.&amp;rdquo; You know that frustrating moment when the surface looks dry, but the inside is still wet? That&amp;rsquo;s how you get blisters and delamination. IR pretty much kills that problem.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Taking your floor space back&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;When you switch to IR, your footprint shrinks. I&amp;rsquo;ve seen lines go from 20-meter convection tunnels down to 5-meter IR setups without losing a single part per hour. You&amp;rsquo;re basically swapping raw volume for intensity.&#xA;Plus, there&amp;rsquo;s no waiting around. Gas-fired ovens take forever to warm up. IR lamps hit their temperature in seconds. You can flip the switch and start the line instantly.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;A few things to watch out for&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;It isn&amp;rsquo;t magic, and you can&amp;rsquo;t just &amp;ldquo;set it and forget it.&amp;rdquo;&#xA;High-intensity lamps put out a massive amount of heat. If you go for a high-wattage array to push your throughput, you have to be smart about the tunnel housing. If your cooling fans and vents aren&amp;rsquo;t sized right, you&amp;rsquo;ll burn out your lamp ends.&#xA;And keep an eye on your reflectors. If they get dirty or knocked out of alignment, you lose efficiency and risk getting hotspots on your pads. Keep them polished. Keep the focal point on the product, and everything runs smooth.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
